VELO 5-year Warranty Policy

All VELO luggage purchased directly from us or any authorized third-party retailer is covered by a 5-year warranty, as detailed below.

The warranty covers:

We are committed to providing high-quality products. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects that may cause your suitcase to malfunction during normal use including the following:

  • Zippers that can no longer be opened or closed
  • Broken handle or button that is no longer functional
  • Broken expandible mechanism that is no longer functional
  • Seal and seam defects
  • Cracks or breaks in the shell

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Cosmetic damage: scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains, color changes, normal wear and tear (including inner fabric), or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the product that occur during normal handling and use of luggage by any party.
  • Airline mishandling damage.
  • Damage caused by misuse (e.g. transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, exposure to high temperatures, solvents, acids, and water.
  • Damage determined by us to be due to intentional abuse, modification, tampering, and/or alteration beyond what could be considered normal handling and use.

This warranty is only eligible to the original purchaser of VELO. For the purpose of this warranty, the “original purchaser” is defined as the first purchaser of the luggage from VELO or a VELO authorized retailer. In the case of purchasing the luggage as a gift, the “original purchaser” is defined as the first receiver of VELO as a gift. This warranty is valid for the period of time the luggage is owned by the original purchaser of the luggage or the 5-year time frame, whichever ends first.

To file a warranty claim, please contact us via Proof of purchase is required for the filing process. 

In the event of a warranty claim:

If a part of your luggage is damaged, we will ship you a replacement part for free, with instructions for installation. If the luggage is damaged to the point that a piece of replacement luggage is needed, we will not cover the shipping fee incurred in this process.

VELO reserves the right to update this warranty.

  • 縫合や密閉における不具合
  • ケースのひび割れや破損


  • 外観上の損傷:いかなる当事者による製品の取り扱いおよび使用中に発生した、傷、へこみ、擦れ、汚れ、色の変化、通常の摩滅(内布を含む)、または製品の外観におけるその他の非機能的な変化。
  • 航空会社の誤操作による損害。
  • 誤用(例:異常品の輸送)、放置、事故、高温、溶剤、酸、水の浸透などにより生じた損害。
  • 意図的な乱用、改造、改ざん、および/または通常の取り扱いおよび使用とみなされる範囲を超えた改変に起因すると弊社が判断した損害。
