Does the suitcase in carry-on size meet the requirements of all airlines?
This product's carry-on size is compliant with the carry-on requirements of United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and other standard airlines. However, actual carry-on regulations may vary in different regions. We recommend consulting the specific airline before traveling with VELO to ensure compliance with their guidelines.
5.
Is it normal for there to be sliding between the upper and lower shells of one side of the suitcase when the TSA Lock is not installed?
Yes, it is normal.
In order to ensure the suitcase has an expandable feature, the upper and lower shells on this side are connected via sliding tracks and sliders.
Consequently, to allow smooth operation of the expandable feature, there may be a slight sliding movement between the tracks and sliders, resulting in a minor sliding phenomenon between the two shells.
However, this sliding does not affect the overall sturdiness and durability of the suitcase. Please rest assured.
6.
Is it permissible to sit on the luggage?
No, it is not. This can cause wear and tear on the expandable structure.
7.
How do I lift or carry the suitcase if there are no handles on the top and sides?
The reason for not having dedicated handles on the top and sides of the suitcase is that we have ingeniously integrated the handle function with the telescopic handle of the suitcase.
When you press the button on the telescopic handle, it will pop out and lock into place. At this point, the handle of the telescopic handle can be used as a convenient grip for lifting and carrying the suitcase from the top.
Additionally, there are handles located on the bottom of the luggage, making it easy for us to pick up and place the suitcase.
8.
How can airport staff attach a checked baggage tag if there are no handles on the top of the suitcase?
- Press the button on the top handle, and the handle will automatically pop out, allowing ground staff to wrap the tag around the handle.
- Once the tag is securely attached, retract the extended telescopic handle back into its slot.
After retracting, ensure that the telescopic handle is shoved back and locked up securely. (Indicator: The top of the telescopic handle should be flush with the top of the suitcase.)
9.
Is it necessary to lock the zipper pulls inside the customs lock during the use of the suitcase?
Yes, it is necessary.
The suitcase's zipper is designed in two sections. If the two sections of the zipper are not fully closed and locked inside the customs lock, it may lead to the following consequences:
- Items inside the suitcase may fall out or get lost.
- The zipper pulls and sliders may be subject to impact, potentially causing damage and affecting the subsequent use of the suitcase.
